WorldNet Virginia is produced by Virginia Department of Education and Prince William County Public Schools to provide opportunities for a group of public school teachers and administrators to participate in study seminars in selected foreign countries.

What's New

On February 17th from 2:00-3:00 PM all Virginia public television stations will air a special DOE Hour. This broadcast will consist of Virginia educators teaching a lesson from the pyramids with a live connection to Egypt. Also featured will be a tour of the Virginia Museum of Arts' collection on Egypt and a tour of WorldNet: Virginia and A Commonwealth of Knowledge Web Sites.

Program registration for the Egypt trip is available through our online registration system.
