WorldNet Virginia is produced by Virginia Department of Education and Prince William County Public Schools to provide opportunities for a group of public school teachers and administrators to participate in study seminars in selected foreign countries.

Peru 2001
November 7 - 18, 2001

Teachers and administrators from Virginia will journey through Peru visiting historic places including Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley of the Incas, Machu Picchu, and the rainforests at Puerto Maldonado.

The purpose of this seminar is to focus on Virginia's Standards of Learning through on-site lectures, site visits, and tours. This experience will become part of the WorldNet:Virginia Web site as a permanent resource as seminar participants provide daily journals, photographs, discussions, lesson plans, and live chats.
